Where is the property located?

It's in a gated complex (Domain Juan Flore) situated right by the beach of Juan Les Pins.

Is pets allowed?

Yes. Pets are allowed upon request. The garden is completely fenced.

Is smoking allowed?

No. Smoking indoors is not allowed, however we have provide ashtrays for you to use outside

What amenities will you provide?

For your convenience, you will find soap, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher-tablets, sponge and garbage-bags for your whole stay. There are also a couple of toilet-rolls and a kitchen roll to get you started. There's a large selection of herbs and spices. In the kitchen there are fresh tea-towels.

How is the bedding and composition of beds?

We have a large double-bed in the master bedroom that is 180cm wide and 200cm long. On top there's one large single matress, so it's not possible to part this bed in two. There are two pillows and two covers. Each side has it's night-table with a decoration lamp as well as a reading lamp.

In the childrens-room, there's a family bunk-bed. The lower bed is 140cm wide and 200cm long. It has a comfortable matress suitable for two adults. The upper bed is 90cm wide. It's suitable for a child. There's also a foldable bed with a comfortable matress (suitable for an adult) that can be placed anywhere.

If you have ordered linnen&towels, our meet-and-greet person will prepare and make up the beds for you. All linnen and towels we use are of high quality. You will get a smaller towel and a large shower-towel, as well as a separate beach-towel that you could bring to the beach and pool

Is there a supermarket close to the Domain?

Yes, right outside the Domain you will find two supermarkets (SuperU and Intermarché). Both are opened daily 8:30-20:00 monday-saturday. On Sundays the SuperU is opened from 8:30-12:30, and the Intermarché is opened 8:30-19:00. There are also small bakeries (opened 7 days a week).

Are there other services close to the Domain?

Yes. Next to the domain, you will find restaurants, a pharmacy, post-office, hairdressers, cafés, Tabac, Fitness-center, laundry-service and a doctor (General practician who speaks English)

When is the pool opened?

The pool is generally opened from 1/6 until 30/9. However, this could change with a couple of days (it's decided on a boardmeeting in April each year). For the summer 2024, the opening of the pool is 18/5-5/10. During season it's opened daily from 08:30-20:30. You need a pool-bracelet in order to enter through the gates to the pool. We have provided you with 6 poolbands in the apartment. The pool is supervised by a guard. There are changing-rooms as well as showers and toilets by the pool-house. The pool is not heated.

Pool-update for Summer 2021: This season, the pool will be opened every day from 12:00-20:00. There will be mandatory shower when entering the pool-area. 

How do I get to the apartment from the Airport?

If you rent a car, you usually need to go to Terminal2 with a shuttlebus to pick up your car. Then you drive to the apartment via the highway A8, and get off at Exit 44. There's one toll by Exit 44 (cost 1.60EUR). This can be paid by credit-card or by cash. If you prefer a taxi, you can pre-book that with several companies. We have used "Mon petit chauffeur" or "Jamtaxi", which are both very good. Please contact our meet-and-greet person for more details. Usually it cost 40-70 EUR to go by taxi to the domain. Another option is to take the local Express-bus (#250) to Cannes and get off by stop "Eucaluptys" located only 5 min walk from the Domain. The cost for the bus is about 17EUR/roundtrip.

Do I need a car?

No, car is not needed since the Domain is within walking distance from the supermarket, bakeries, bus-stops as well as the center of JuanLesPins and Golfe Juan. The bus-stop is just outside the Domain, so you can easily get on a bus to Cannes, Nice, Antibes etc. Prices are only 1.5EUR/ride. The taxi-service "Uber" works perfectly fine at the Riviera if you wish to take a taxi.

Do I need to speak French?

Of course the French people likes to hear that you make an effort to speak their language, but it's not necessary to speak French. Almost everybody working with tourists in the Riviera speaks English.

Is the apartment child-friendly?

YES! Our apartment is very suitable for children and families! The garden is securely fenced, and the walkways within the Domain is not for cars. We have a lot of DVDs for children, as well as a Nintendo Wii-console. There are also a lot of toys and beach-toys for younger children. If you need a baby cot and high-chair, we have that as well. The pool-area has a shallow children-pool. Just outside the Domain there is a nice playground for children.

How is the reservation made?

In order to reserve, we would like a 25% downpayment for the rent. The rest of the rent, including the SecurityDeposit of 250EUR is payable 6 weeks before your stay. The Security Deposit is paid back within 2 weeks after your stay. Payment is made in EUR by bank-transfer.

Is cleaning and linnen&towels provided?

There's a mandatory cleaning-fee of 150 EUR in addition to your rent. If you would like to rent linnen&towels&beachtowels, that is 20EUR/person. Of course you can choose to bring your own. There are pillows and covers that you can use in the apartment. The cost for cleaning and linnen is payable directly to our meet-and-greet person upon arrival.

What is included in the rent?

Included in the rent is electricity, heating, cooling (AC), free use of the pool-area, WiFi, use of private parkinglot, kitchen-amenities (see Welcome-pack). Please note that cleaning is not part of the rent, but is paid separately to our meet-and-greet person.
