Things to see and do
There are plenty of things to do around the area. We have a “Lonely Planet”-guide in the apartment that you can use. There's also a GuideMichelin as well as maps and tourist-folders about things to see&do. A valuable resource is to use www.tripadvisor.com for a lot of info.
Here are some ideas on things to do in the close by:
With kids:
- Marineland: (Antibes)
A sea-adventure for kids and grownups! It’s a whole day experience with lots of shows (killerwhales, dolphins etc). It tends to be crowded, so it’s a good idea to bring you own picnic (plenty of green areas for picnicking). www.marineland.fr/ - Aquasplash / Ferme du Far West / Adventure Golf: (Antibes)
In the same area as Marineland there are several amusement parcs for children. - Petit Train (Juan-les-Pins – Antibes)
A cute little train going between Juan-les-Pins and Antibes. Departs from Juan-Les-Pins close to the tourist-office and arrives in the center of the old town of Antibes. www.petit-train-antibes.com - FunCart & Carousels: (Juan-les-Pins)
By the boardwalk in the centre of Juan-les-Pins, there is a “FunCart”-arena for kids 5yrs&up. Close by you will find carousels for the smaller kids. Also, in the parc “La Pinède”, right by the Casino, you will find a wonderful playground, as well as a small amusement parc with carousels for the children. - Glassbottomboat (Juan les Pins/Cap d’Antibes)
Enjoy a 1-hour boat-tour around the Cap d’Antibes. For the whole family – the kids will enjoy the sealife through the glass-bottom, while the parents enjoy the view of the Cap d’Antibes. Located in the center of JuanLesPins www.visiobulle.com - Le Village des Fous, Le Bois du Lutin, Pitchoun Forest (Villeneuve-Loubet)
Great for kids of all ages ! We highly recommend this for a fun day with the kids. Le Bois du Lutin and Pitchoun Forest for the younger, Laby Folies for slightly older. All three are located outside Villeneuve-Loubet. In all of these parcs, you are climbing high up in the trees (perfectly safe). In Laby Folies there is first an adventurus labyrinth that you have to walk through (different levels depending on the age of the participants), before reaching the amusement park. Check www.levillagedesfous.com , www.leboisdeslutins.com , www.pitchounforest.com for more info. - Canyon Forest (Villeneuve-Loubet)
A great adventure for a half-day out in the nature. An amazing parcour adventure among the tree-tops and with breathtaking ziplines. For children over 8. Reservations is a must. www.canyonforest.com - Musée Oceanographic: (Monte Carlo)
This wonderful oceanographic museum is located right in the centre of Monte Carlo. You will find gigantic fishtanks with fishes from all around the world. www.oceano.mc
